„Dansons L’Europe: Un moyen federateur”- Orly, France

Between the 26^th July and the 1^st August 2013, three volunteers of our organization participated in the project called “Dansons L’Europe: Un moyen federateur”, a network training activity in Orly, France. The project was financed by The European Comission through ”Youth in Action” programe.

18 youngsters, representatives of certain non-governamental organizations from France,Spain,Italy,Latvia,Bulgaria and Romania,spent together 6 days in which they presented their organizations, exchanged information and practices regarding the activities each association carries out and also, they developed collaboration strategies and ideas for new projects together.

The experience I had in Orly was remarkable . I can say I made about 20 new friends! Throughout these 6 days I had the chance to meet people from 12 organizations from 6 countries. Everyone presented the activities and the ways they get involved with the community in youth work. We exchanged experiences and learned one from another.

The activities we took part in unified us as a team and all of us had our own space of development and interest. We danced tango on Sena’s shore together with the local people, we met the team of double dutch, who taught us how to jump using two ropes, we assisted at the “Hip-Hop Battle of Bands” and we visited the Eiffel Tower. All these experiences led to a strong team spirit, so that during our last two days we were able to work on our future projects as a team.

Every night we had dinner at a traditional restaurant, so that in Paris and Orly we got in contact with several cultures, from African and Chinese to the well-known Creppes, eaten on the street. We met wonderful people, who actively get involved with the community and in the lives of the youngsters, and only seeing this motivated us very much.

One of the organizers surprises was a Ramadan dinner, cooked for us by Orly’s local youngsters. It was an emotional and special moment and also a lesson that showed how people from different cultures and religions work together, in harmony, for the same goal, which is the development of the youth and the community they come from.

Ro: În perioada 26 iulie-1 august 2013, trei voluntari ai organizației noastre au participat la activitate de formare de rețele in Orly, Franța, proiect finanțat de Comisia Europeană prin programul Tineret în Acțiune.

18 tineri, reprezentanți ai unor organizații neguvernamentale din Franța, Spania, Italia, Letonia, Bulgaria și România, au petrecut împreună 6 zile în care și-au prezentat organizațiile, au făcut schimb de informatii și practici cu privire la activitățile pe care le desfășoară fiecare asociație, au dezvoltat împreună strategii de colaborare și idei de noi proiecte în parteneriat.

Experiența din Orly a fost una remarcabilă. Pot spune că mi-am făcut minim 20 de preteni noi! În cele 6 zile am avut ocazia să cunosc oameni din 12 organizații din 6 țări. Fiecare și-a prenetat activitatea și modul în care se implică în comunitatea din care face parte în munca cu tinerii. Am făcut schimb de experiențe și am învățat unii de la alții.

Activitățile la care am participat ne-au unit ca și echipă, fiecare a avut spațiul lui de desfășurare și de interes. Fie că am dansat tango pe malul Senei alături de localnici, sau am cunoscut echipa de double dutch, care ne-a și ajutat să învățăm cum să sărim cu două corzi, că am asistat la Hip-Hop battle of bands, sau am vizitat turnul Eiffel, totul a dus la crearea unui spirit de echipă, astfel încât, în ultimele două zile am putut munci, ca o echipă, la proiecte viitoare, în care să funcționăm ca și parteneri.

În fiecare seară am luat cina la un restaurant cu specific, așa că, în Orly și Paris am luat contact cu toate culturile, de la Africa și China, la bine- cunoscutele Creppes, mâncate pe stradă. Am cunoscut oameni minunați, care se implică cativ în comunitate și în viața tinerilor iar aceasta ne-a motivat puternic.

Una din surprizele organizatorilor a fost o cină de Ramadan, gătită pentru noi de tinerii din comunitatea locală din Orly. A fost un moment emoționant, plăcut și o lecție puternică despre cum oameni din culturi și religii diferite lucrează împreună, în armonie, pentru același scop și anume dezvoltarea tinerilor și a comunității din care provin.

A fost, pe departe, una din cele mai bune experiențe de învățare de până acum.- Izabella KisKasza
